Sun Protective T-shirts from SPF Company are the exclusive brand of Sun-protective fabrics used by NASA. We have found them to be very soft in 100% Cotton. UPF is the rating for clothing (similar to SPF in sun blocking lotions) - the UPF of 50 is equivalent to SPF 30 and blocks in excess of 97% of harmful UV rays.
